A local high school needed some shirts ASAP for one of their pep rallies. They wanted them airbrushed but couldn’t find anyone to do them by their deadline. Our graphics department went to work using the schools’ colors. The final print looked…well, airbrushed. The print was done using three colors on high mesh count screens with halftones.

It’s been quite awhile since our last post. We’ve been doing a whole lot of printing and not enough posting. Here is one of the designs we printed for Lost Diamond Clothing. This was a nice three color print using halftones. Check out Lost Diamond’s myspace page to see some more of their shirts. Lost Diamond Clothing

Our latest promotional shirt came out quite nicely. We used discharge ink to remove the shirt’s grey dye and replace it with white. Discharge inks leave no “hand” and provide the softest feel of all the different printing techniques that we use. The discharge white was printed using halftones to give a nice smokey effect. A layer of green plastisol ink was then printed on top of the discharge to give a little color to the design. The green will actually react to black light. Halftones were also used on the green layer. Finally, our third layer was black plastisol ink, again using halftones. Hope you like!

Chowder Fest is an annual event in Beach Haven, NJ that we attend every year. This year it falls on October 4th and 5th. We printed a run of shirts for the owners of Stefano’s Restaurant, California Grill, Blue Water Cafe, and The Dockside Diner. The front of the shirt can be seen in the below post. Stefano’s will be competing for this years best chowder just as they have for almost 20 years. If you’re familiar with LBI, stop by Chowder Fest and vote for Stefano’s or the California Grill!

We have been printing a ton of shirts for bands lately. Here is a design being displayed by Tom Leslie, the drummer for LP Stiles. They asked for their shirts to have similar text to the L.A. Dodgers. Don’t forget to stop by their myspace page to check out their music.
